Accompanying path in Business creation in agrifood sector
Introduction
This initiative is launched in the frame of TTO4food project (Enhancement of knowledge transfer in the food sector strengthening technological transfer offices in Albanian Universities). The project aims aims to create 4 new Technology Transfer Office (TTOs) in the Agricultural University of Tirana, the University “Aleksandër Moisiu” of Durres, the University “Ismail Qemali” of Vlora and the University “Fan S Noli” of Korca. Partners of the Project are the CIHEAM Bari, the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, the University of Technology (CUT) of Cyprus and the university spin-off Sinagri srl.
Objective of the call
25 young people will be selected based on the entrepreneurial idea they present) in one of the following sectors: agrifood, diversification of activities in the agricultural.
The selected candidates will benefit of an accompanying path in Business creation in agrifood helping them to develop their idea into a business initiative (start-up).
Accompanying path
The selected participants will benefit from an accompanying path, animated by the University professors and CIHEAM Bari experts, encompassing frontal lectures, teamwork, and mentoring, starting from July ending in September/October.
The training aims to improve the entrepreneurial competences of students on issues relevant to the development of innovative business companies, such as creativity and idea generation, Buyer personas, Value proposition, Market research, Business Model and Pitching.
At the end of the training, the participants will present a pitch to share their business idea and to take part to an event to be held in September/October , with the participation of enterprises, investorsand innovation actors operating in the sector concerned.
Students and ex students (age 18-35 ) of the university are welcome to submit their applications and submit an entrepreneurial idea.

Upon the conclusion of the selection process, the selected participants will receive the schedule of classes.
Selection modality
The selection will be carried out by an impartial international committee composed of experts in the sector of entrepreneurship and innovation.
The selection will be based solely on the evaluation of the presented documentation according to the criteria listed in the table below.
